Fitment and vehicle compatibility
Will a G-Series head unit fit my vehicle?
Every G-Series unit is engineered for a specific make, model, and year range. It is not a universal tablet on a mount. Find your vehicle on the G-Series collection page or filter by make. If your exact year and trim are listed in the product variants, it fits.
Which vehicles do you currently make G-Series head units for?
We currently ship G-Series Android head units for the following vehicles:
- Infiniti: Q50, Q60, G37, QX50, FX35, FX37, FX50, QX70
- Nissan: 350Z, 370Z, GT-R, Titan

Do you make a head unit for the Toyota Camry, Tundra, Honda Civic, or Honda Accord?
Not yet. These are some of the most-requested vehicles we don't currently support. If you'd like to be notified when a G-Series unit becomes available for your vehicle, email support@squarewheelsauto.com with your year and trim. (Note: we do support the Toyota 4Runner 2010–2018 and Toyota Tacoma 2005–2015.)
How do I find the right unit for my year and trim?
Open the product page for your vehicle and select your year, drive side (US, Euro left-hand drive, or right-hand drive), and trim from the variant dropdown. If your variant is listed, it is confirmed to fit. If your year is borderline (for example, the early or late edge of a generation), email support before ordering.
What's included and what stays connected
What comes in the box?
Every G-Series order includes the head unit, vehicle-specific trim, plug-and-play wiring harness, mounting hardware, and installation guide. No splicing, soldering, or permanent modifications are required.
What factory features stay connected after installation?
- Steering wheel audio, phone, and voice controls
- Climate control display and functions
- Rearview camera and 360-degree camera (where equipped)
- Factory amplifier and premium audio integration, including Bose where equipped
- Vehicle information and settings displays
Will I lose my factory backup camera or 360 camera?
No. The G-Series unit integrates with your factory camera systems. On vehicles with 360-degree camera, the surround view continues to function. If you want a sharper image, the HD 1080p Backup Camera is an OEM-fit upgrade that pairs with the G-Series unit (note: this camera will override 360 view on Infiniti Q50/Q60 and only display the rear feed).

Does it support wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto?
Yes. Both are wireless and built in. Your phone connects automatically when you enter the vehicle, with no cables required.
Can I install apps like Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, or Waze?
Yes. Because the G-Series runs full Android with Google Play Store, you can install any Android app, not just CarPlay or Android Auto apps.
Installation
How long does installation take?
Most owners complete installation in 1.5 to 3 hours with basic hand tools, depending on the vehicle. Trucks and SUVs with simpler dash layouts are at the lower end of that range. The 2014–2015 Infiniti Q50 dual-screen replacement is at the higher end.
Do I need to cut any wires or modify my vehicle?
No. The plug-and-play harness connects directly to your factory radio plugs. There is no cutting, splicing, or permanent modification. The factory radio can be reinstalled at any time.
Do you offer professional installation?
Yes. We offer white-glove installation at our Suwanee, Georgia location. We also work with a network of installer partners — contact support@squarewheelsauto.com for a referral in your area.
Will installation void my factory warranty?
For owned vehicles, our installations do not affect your powertrain warranty. The factory infotainment warranty is separate. For leased vehicles, we recommend confirming with your dealer first — most are fine with reversible modifications, but it is worth confirming. The G-Series is fully reversible, and you can reinstall the factory radio at any time.
Shipping and processing
How long does it take to ship my order?
- G-Series head units and APEX clusters: 3 to 5 business days processing, then approximately 10 business days total to delivery within the United States.
- Tesla S3XY accessories (Hansshow): 3 to 5 business days processing, approximately 30 business days total to delivery.
- G-Series accessories (cameras, protectors, wiring kits): 5 to 10 business days processing.
- Glowe lighting kits and etched lens overlays: Custom-built per order, 5 to 10 business days processing.

Do you ship internationally?
Many of our G-Series products offer left-hand drive and right-hand drive variants for European and other markets. International shipping rates and timelines vary by destination and product — email support@squarewheelsauto.com with your country and the product you're interested in for an accurate quote.
Why is the Tesla accessory line slower than the G-Series line?
Our Tesla Model Y and Model 3 accessories are fulfilled through Hansshow, which ships from overseas. Plan for approximately 30 business days from order to delivery on Tesla S3XY products.
Returns, refunds, and warranty
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies, and the customer is responsible for return shipping. To start a return, email support@squarewheelsauto.com with your order number. See the full Refund Policy for details.
Is there a warranty on the G-Series?
Yes. G-Series head units are covered by manufacturer warranty against defects. Contact support with your order number and a description of the issue, and we will guide you through diagnosis and any necessary replacement parts.
What if my unit arrives damaged or doesn't work?
Email support@squarewheelsauto.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. We will replace damaged units at no cost.
Support and troubleshooting
Where do I find installation guides and downloads?
Visit the G-Series Support and Downloads page or the APEX Support Center for documentation and firmware files.
My CarPlay keeps disconnecting. What should I do?
First confirm whether you are using wireless or wired CarPlay, and whether the issue happens with multiple phones. Wireless CarPlay disconnections are most often resolved by removing the phone from Bluetooth, restarting the unit, and re-pairing. If the problem persists, email support with your phone model and a description of when the disconnections occur.
My screen is slow or laggy. Can it be fixed?
Most slowness reports trace back to either factory infotainment (in which case a G-Series replacement solves it permanently) or a stuck background app. Hold the home button to view recent apps and close anything you aren't actively using. If you continue to see lag after a clean reboot, contact support.
How do I get help with troubleshooting?
Email support@squarewheelsauto.com with your order number, vehicle, and a clear description of the issue. We respond within one business day, and most issues are resolved over email or a short video call.
