Nissan 370Z Radio Upgrade | Tesla Screen, CarPlay, and Other Options
The Nissan 370Z's factory radio is basic — no CarPlay, no Android Auto, a small screen, and dated Bluetooth. If you want to modernize it, here are the options that actually work.
Option 1: CarPlay Module / Adapter
Aftermarket CarPlay adapters plug into the factory system and add wireless or wired CarPlay. Typically $100-300. Downsides: you keep the small factory screen, the interface can be laggy, and some adapters have compatibility issues with the 370Z's specific head unit.
Option 2: Double-Din Head Unit
A traditional aftermarket radio from Pioneer, Kenwood, or Sony. Requires a dash kit and wiring harness adapter. You get a 7" screen with CarPlay/Android Auto for $300-600 + install. Fits, but the dash kit never looks quite factory.
Option 3: Tesla-Style Vertical Screen
The G-Series for Nissan 370Z replaces the entire center console with a large vertical Android touchscreen designed specifically for the 370Z dash. No universal dash kit — it's molded to fit the 370Z interior.
