No, a Tesla-Style headunit is not required. The Apex Cluster functions independently and integrates seamlessly with your vehicle’s factory systems. However, when paired with a Tesla-Style headunit via HDMI, you can mirror or extend apps and video content directly to the Apex Cluster for a more immersive experience.
How's easy or difficult the installation?
The installation is designed to be straightforward and mostly plug-and-play, with no permanent modifications required. Detailed instructions are provided, and most users can complete it with basic tools. For those less familiar with car electronics, professional installation is recommended.
